Helvellyn House

Helvellyn House is in Keswick. It's a modern house, not an old cottage. We had it all redone a few years back so everything's new and works properly.

It sleeps eight people. Four bedrooms, all doubles. Three bathrooms, so there's no big queue in the morning. It's got a 4 Star rating, which is about right.

There's a good kitchen that opens into a dining area. Two separate living rooms, which is useful if you've got kids who want to watch something different, or if someone wants a bit of quiet. One's got an open fire.

You can walk into Keswick town centre in about five minutes. It means you can go for a meal and not worry about driving. Plenty of pubs and shops.

For walking, you're right in the middle of it. Latrigg is basically on the doorstep. Catbells, Skiddaw, Blencathra are all a short drive away. Helvellyn is a bit further but still well within range.

Derwentwater is about a twenty minute walk. You can hire boats there. The Theatre by the Lake is on its shore.

In terms of stuff here: it's all enclosed at the back, there's parking, wifi, a washing machine, and bedding and towels are included. No pets.
