Otterbield is a terraced house in Keswick. It's about five minutes walk from the town centre. You're close to everything but it's a quiet street.
The house sleeps seven in four bedrooms. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well looked after. There are two bathrooms, which helps with a full house. One has a bath and a shower, the other is just a shower.
It's over three floors. The stairs are normal. The top floor has two bedrooms, a double and a single. The first floor has the main double and a twin room, plus the bathrooms. The living room and kitchen are on the ground floor. There's an open fire in the living room. The kitchen has a table and doors out to the back garden. The garden is enclosed. It gets the sun in the afternoon.
You're very close to Fitz Park and the River Greta. From there you can walk into town along the river or cross the bridge. Keswick has all the shops and pubs you'd expect. The Theatre by the Lake is a nice spot. Derwentwater is about a 20 minute walk for boats or just a stroll around the lake.
For walking, you've got Latrigg right on the doorstep. Catbells, Skiddaw, and Blencathra are all nearby. Helvellyn is about a 30 minute drive. If the weather turns, the Pencil Museum is a popular one with kids.
Included in the house: all bedding and towels, WiFi, a washing machine, dishwasher, and the wood for the fire. There's parking for one car on the street outside.
