This is Cottam Road, in Threlkeld. It's a studio apartment for two people, part of a terrace. It was all done up a few years ago.
Everything's on one level. It's an open plan space, so the living area, kitchen and bed are all in one room. The bathroom is separate. The main thing is the view. There's a big window that looks straight out towards the fells. You can see them from the bed.
The stairs to the upstairs neighbour are a bit steep and narrow, just so you know. There's a small enclosed garden out the back that gets the sun. It's south facing. There's also a shared outbuilding with a boot room. Handy for wet coats and walking boots.
Threlkeld itself is quiet. There are a couple of pubs you can walk to in about ten minutes. They do food. Keswick is about five miles away, so less than a fifteen minute drive. That's where you'll find most of the shops and places to eat.
For walking, you're right there. You're on the lower slopes of Blencathra. The Threlkeld Quarry and Mining Museum is a couple of miles away. Keswick Golf Club is about the same. Castlerigg Stone Circle is just outside Keswick, it's a quick stop off.
Included: WiFi, TV, washing machine, bedding and towels. Parking is on site. The entrance is level, so it's accessible. Sorry, no pets.
