Ingle Neuk Cottage
This is Ingle Neuk Cottage in Mosedale. It's a two-up two-down in a tiny hamlet called Bowscale, right in the northern fells. You're about a mile from a pub, and five miles from a shop, so you need to be happy being a bit out of the way. Keswick is about ten miles.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, which is accurate. It's clean, warm, and does the job. It's not a fancy show home. The garden is yours to use.
You can walk straight out onto the fells from the door. No driving needed if you don't want to. If you do drive, Ullswater is about a 15-minute drive. You can get the steamers from there. Aira Force waterfall is nearby too.
Penrith is about a 20-minute drive east for supermarkets and the mainline train station. Hadrian's Wall is under an hour north if you fancy a trip out.
For facilities, you've got the basics. Wifi, TV, parking. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to three dogs. The utilities are all included in the price.
