Ingle Neuk Cottage is in Bowscale, which is a hamlet in Mosedale. It's in the northern part of the Lake District National Park.
The cottage itself sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's a 3 Star place, so it's comfortable and clean without being luxurious. You can bring up to three dogs. There's a garden and parking.
The main thing is the location. You can walk straight out of the door onto the fells. There's no need to drive to a trailhead if you don't want to. A pub that does food is about a mile away.
The nearest shop for basics is about five miles away in Mungrisdale. For a bigger supermarket, Keswick is ten miles. That's about a fifteen minute drive.
Ullswater is a short drive. You can get boat trips from Glenridding or Pooley Bridge. Aira Force waterfall is nearby and worth a visit.
For days out, Penrith has the castle and the Rheged Centre. Hadrian's Wall is under an hour's drive to the north.
Inside, there's a TV, WiFi, and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. The heating and electric are included in the price.
