Rowanburn Lodge
Rowanburn Lodge is a detached lodge in Lamonby. It's part of a small, private development. You look out over Duke's Pond from the deck. It's quiet. You get red squirrels, roe deer, that sort of thing. We've put a squirrel box on the decking with food in it, so they often come right up.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. Everything is on one level. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's modern and clean. The living space is open plan.
You're about four miles from a shop and a pub. The nearest proper places are Greystoke, Caldbeck and Hesketh Newmarket. They've all got a pub and a local shop.
The location is good for getting about. You're right in the middle between Keswick, Penrith, Carlisle and Ullswater. So you can head off in any direction without a long drive first. Blencathra is right there on the skyline. Greystoke Forest is on one side.
Facilities: there's parking right outside. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. The garden is enclosed. You can bring up to two pets.
