Cobble Rigg is in Threlkeld. It's a detached 'chalet style' house on a bit of a slope, so you get good views. It looks right at Blencathra at the back.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. The living room has some exposed stone walls, which is a nice feature. The conservatory overlooks the garden.
Threlkeld itself is a small village. There's a local café and a couple of pubs about a five minute walk away. Both pubs are very old. The village shop is a few miles away, so you'll probably want to drive to Keswick for a proper supermarket.
It's really for walkers. You can get straight onto the fells from the house. Blencathra is right there. You can walk into Keswick in about an hour and a half on the footpath if you want to. It's also on one of the National Cycle Routes.
Keswick is about a ten minute drive. Derwentwater is there, and you've got all the shops and cafés. For a longer day out, you're right on the edge of the Northern Fells. Ullswater is about a twenty minute drive.
The house has parking, and there's an electric vehicle charger. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, and WiFi. The garden is enclosed. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. No pets, sorry.
