3 The Hollies
This is 3 The Hollies. It's on the first floor of a big old converted house up near the top of Keswick. You get a private parking space, which is a bonus.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's well-kept and comfortable. The main thing is the view. You can see the fells from most of the rooms, especially the living room. It's in a really quiet bit but you're only a minute's walk from the shops and pubs.
The kitchen has a dishwasher and a washing machine. There's WiFi and a TV. Bedding is provided. There's a cot if you need one. No pets allowed, sorry.
You're right in Keswick, so everything's on the doorstep. For a longer walk, you can be up on Latrigg or Skiddaw in no time. Derwentwater is about a ten minute walk down the hill.
If you want to drive out, it's a good base for Borrowdale and Buttermere. Both are within half an hour. The National Trust has a lot of sites around here, and the Lake District National Park site is useful for planning.
