Hazel's Cottage
Hazel's Cottage is in Keswick. It's down a small lane off Station Road, so you're right in town but it's quiet. You can walk to the main street in two minutes.
It sleeps two people. There are two bedrooms, so you can use one as a twin or one as a storage room for your walking gear. One bathroom with a shower. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable. The cottage is part of an old coach house, so the rooms are cosy.
You're right in the middle of everything. There's a shop about ten yards away. Pubs and restaurants are a hundred yards. Fitz Park is just up the road, maybe a five minute walk. It's good if you have a dog.
Derwent Water is about a ten minute walk. You can get boats out on the lake from there. They do evening cruises in the summer.
For walking, you can start from the door. Or you can drive. Borrowdale is about ten minutes away by car. Workington is on the coast, about half an hour's drive. You can get to Ullswater or Buttermere in maybe twenty minutes, depending on traffic.
It has parking for one car on site. There's a washing machine, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair if you need them. There's a stairgate at the top. One well-behaved dog is allowed.
