Philip's Cottage

This is Philip's Cottage, on the edge of Keswick town centre. It's a terraced house, one of a row. The main thing is the location. You're about five minutes' walk from the shops, but you're right by the river Greta. It's quiet. You'll see rabbits on the green.

It sleeps four people. Three bedrooms, one bathroom. The beds can be arranged as doubles or twins, which is useful. There's a third bedroom with bunk beds, but they're small, really just for children. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well-equipped. There's a dishwasher, a big fridge freezer, and a washing machine. WiFi and all the utilities are included.

Outside, there's a small enclosed garden with a patio. It's fine for a dog or just sitting out. You get the garage, which is useful for parking one car securely and for storing bikes.

The local pub is about 500 yards away. The shop is about 700 yards. Fitz Park is literally on the doorstep if you need somewhere for a dog to run. For walks, you can pick up the paths to Latrigg and Skiddaw from just down the road. Derwentwater is about a mile away.

Keswick itself has everything you need: restaurants, shops, a museum. The Pencil Museum is a short walk away. For a swim, the nearest pool is at Keswick Leisure, about a 15 minute walk. The wider Lake District is on your doorstep. You're in the national park.

It takes pets. Bedding and towels are provided. We have a cot and a highchair if you need them.
