Uncle's Cottage

Uncle's Cottage is in Keswick. It's pretty central, about 200 yards from the main bus stop. You can walk to everything from here.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms upstairs, one bathroom. We renovated it a few years ago. Downstairs is open plan with leather sofas and the kitchen. Upstairs, we raised the ceilings so you can see the old roof beams.

It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding is included. You can park on site. We allow one dog.

There's a small patio area out the back. It's not huge, but it's a quiet spot.

For walks, you can just step out the door. The town is right there with shops and pubs. For bigger walks, you're in the middle of it. Derwentwater is a short walk away.

If you drive, you're well placed for the rest of the Lakes. Borrowdale is about ten minutes. Buttermere is maybe twenty.
