Jasmine Cottage
Jasmine Cottage is on a little cobbled lane off Main Street in Keswick. It's a terraced cottage. You're right in the town centre but it's quiet down the lane.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. The rating is 3 Star, so it's comfortable and clean. One bedroom has a double bed, the other has bunk beds. They're fine for kids. The stairs are a bit steep and narrow. Just so you know.
You get a parking permit for the Allerdale council car parks. The closest one is Central Car Park, which is about a three minute walk from the door. It means you can park and then forget the car.
The shops, pubs, and restaurants are just around the corner. There's a local market on Thursdays and Saturdays on the square. For walks, you can be at Derwentwater in under twenty minutes on foot. You can get a boat from there. For a bigger walk, you can go through Fitz Park and up Latrigg. The views from there are very good.
If it rains, the Pencil Museum is a ten minute walk. The Theatre by the Lake is about the same. They've got WiFi, TV, and all the bedding and towels are included. The garden is a small patio area. You can bring two dogs.
