Croft Cottage is in Braithwaite. It's right on the street in the middle of the village. It was a barn originally, built in 1868, and it's been done up.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with their own bathrooms. That's handy. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-equipped.
The big thing is the drying room. There's a washing machine and tumble dryer, drying racks, and a sink. It's perfect for when you come in from the fells soaked through. It means you don't have to dry everything over the fire.
You can see the fells from the bedroom windows. Grisedale Pike is right there. You can just walk out the door and straight up.
There are three pubs and a shop a short walk away. They all do food and they're all dog friendly. Keswick is two miles down the road for supermarkets and the rest.
Outside, there's a small gravelled garden with a seat. You can unload at the front. Parking is on the street, but there's plenty of space.
For cycling, the trails at Whinlatter Forest are some of the best around. It's about ten minutes by car.
You can take two dogs. There's a cot available. Bedding is included. It has wifi and a woodburning stove.
