Croft Cottage
Croft Cottage is in Braithwaite, in the middle of the village. It's one of a pair that used to be a barn, done up now. It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with their own bathroom, which is handy.
It’s got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and clean. There are fell views from the upstairs windows.
There’s a drying room with a washing machine and dryer, which is useful if you've been out walking and come back wet. Outside there's a small gravelled garden with some seats. You can unload right outside, and there's on-street parking.
Everything in the village is walkable. There's a shop, and three pubs that all do food. They’re all dog-friendly. You can start walks right from the door. For mountain biking, the tracks at Whinlatter Forest are some of the best around.
Keswick is two miles away for supermarkets and more shops. Derwentwater is about the same.
Inside, there's a woodburning stove, a dishwasher, wifi, and a TV. We provide bedding. A cot is there if you need it. You can bring up to two dogs.
