This place is Skiddaw. It's a ground floor apartment in Keswick, one of three in the same building. You get your own parking space right out the front.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and has what you need. The building is accessed by a few steps up from the street. Inside, the rooms are a good size.
The location is the main thing. You're just off the main street, right opposite George Fisher, the outdoor shop. The pub is 50 yards away, and there are restaurants even closer. You can leave the car.
It's about a ten minute walk down to Derwentwater. You go down Lake Road and through Hope Park. The launches are there if you want a trip on the lake. You can walk onto the fells from the door.
For planning days out, these are helpful: Lake District National Park and National Trust Lake District.
Facilities: Wi-Fi, TV, washing machine, parking. Bedding is included. There's a cot if you need one. No pets, sorry.
