Barleycorn

Barleycorn is in Keswick. It's a little two-up two-down cottage, semi-detached, set back from the road on a corner plot. You can see the River Greta from the back garden, it's just there.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms upstairs, one bathroom. The bathroom's modern. It's got a 3 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable and looks after itself. The garden has a decked bit and is fully enclosed, so it's secure if you've got a dog.

You can walk into the centre of Keswick in about five minutes. You go through Fitz Park, it's a nice walk. The local pub is a few minutes away, but Keswick's full of them. The leisure pool is even closer, about two minutes.

Facilities: wifi, washing machine, parking on site. We provide a cot if needed. One well-behaved dog is welcome.

You're really here for the walking. You're on the edge of town, so you can be up in the fells quickly. For planning days out, the Lake District National Park site is useful, as is the National Trust Lake District page for their properties.
