Beech End is in the village of Braithwaite. It's a two bedroom place, sleeps four. We've got a 3 Star rating. It's comfortable and it works, but it's not a show home.
The stairs are in the description for a reason. They're narrow and a bit steep. Just so you know.
It's a good spot for walking. You can get straight out from the door. Braithwaite is at the foot of Whinlatter Forest, and Causey Pike and Grisedale Pike are right there. Keswick is about two miles away for shops and cafes.
You've got a village shop and a pub about 200 yards away. The pub does food. There's parking for two cars at the cottage, and a small bit of garden with a seat.
We take dogs, up to two. Bedding is included. There's a cot if you need it, and the usual things like a TV, wifi, dishwasher and a washing machine.
If you're planning walks, the Lake District National Park site is useful. For the forest trails, check Forestry England for Whinlatter.
