The flat is on the ground floor. It's right off the main part of town, set back a bit. You can see one of the main shops from the door, but it's surprisingly quiet, considering.
There's a private parking space right outside the door. That's quite rare for the centre of Keswick. There's also a small, enclosed patio area with a table and chairs.
The person who owns it had it furnished by an interior designer. It's smart and feels solid. Everything works properly.
You're a minute's walk from the main street with all the shops and pubs. Derwentwater is about a fifteen-minute walk through Hope Park, which is pleasant. You can get boat trips from there.
If you drive, you're at the foot of the fells in a few minutes. It's a good base. The A66 is easy for heading to Borrowdale or the Whinlatter pass.
In the flat there's a washing machine, a dishwasher, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's no bath, just a shower cubicle in the bathroom. The TV is a smart TV.
