Blencathra Bank is on the north side of Keswick. It's a semi-detached bungalow, so you don't have to worry about stairs inside.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms, with one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. Furnishings are in good order. There's a conservatory on the back with a dining table.
The main thing is the views. From the front garden you look straight at Skiddaw. From the back garden you've got Blencathra. You can see both from inside too.
It's in a quiet street but you can walk into the town centre in about ten minutes. There's a local pub a few minutes walk away.
Facilities: there's a washing machine and a dishwasher. Parking is on site. The garden is enclosed. Bedding and towels are included. We can take one well-behaved dog. There's a cot if you need it.
You're right in the northern Lake District. Derwentwater is a short walk away. For wider planning, the Lake District National Park website has all the maps and information. The National Trust looks after a lot of the local land and houses like Wordsworth's.
