Acorn Lodge Cottage
Acorn Lodge Cottage is in the middle of Keswick. It's one of the few places right in town that has its own garden and parking, which is handy.
It sleeps seven in four bedrooms. There are two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable, with a mix of older furniture and newer stuff. You get the things you'd expect, like a washing machine and dishwasher.
The main thing is the location. You can walk to the shops, pubs, and restaurants in about two minutes. Derwentwater and the footpaths up onto things like Walla Crag are right there from the door.
The garden is private. It's got a patio area. There's a woodburning stove for cooler evenings.
You can bring up to two dogs. Bedding and towels are provided. There's a cot if you need one.
For planning days out, these are useful: Lake District National Park and National Trust Lake District. Keswick is a good base for it all.
