The Croft
The Croft is in Keswick, about a ten minute walk from the town centre. It's a bungalow on a quiet cul-de-sac. You get good views from here, you can even see a bit of Derwentwater.
It sleeps six in three bedrooms. There are two bathrooms. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and has everything you'd need. Most of it is on one level, but there's a twin bedroom downstairs. You get to it by some steps from the living room.
The garden is terraced. It's a quiet spot to sit out.
You can walk straight from the door. Walks to Walla Crag or Friar's Crag are easy to get to. Keswick has all the shops and places to eat you'd expect. There's a cinema and a theatre too.
For things to do, Derwentwater is the main thing. You can hire boats or take a launch trip. You're right on the edge of the Lake District National Park so walking routes are everywhere. If you drive, Borrowdale is about ten minutes one way and Thirlemere is about fifteen the other. Grasmere and Ambleside are within half an hour.
What's here... there's a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi, and parking for one car. Bedding and towels are included. We've got a cot and a stairgate if you need them. No pets, I'm afraid.
