3 Barf Cottages

3 Barf Cottages is in Portinscale, just outside Keswick. It's a cottage at the end of a short row, on a quiet lane. It sleeps six people. Three bedrooms and two bathrooms.

It's got a 4 Star rating. The place has been done up to a good standard. It's clean, comfortable and everything works. There's a woodburner in the living room.

The kitchen is well equipped. There's also a separate garden room with a big table for eating, which looks out over the garden towards the fells.

You can walk into Keswick from here along the footpath. It takes about 20 minutes. Portinscale itself has a couple of cafes and places to eat. There's a pub nearby.

The whole area is good for walking. Cat Bells is a popular hike and it's close. For a day out, you can drive to places like Buttermere or Borrowdale within half an hour. Keswick has all the shops you'll need, and a theatre.

Practical stuff: there's parking for one car, a washing machine, WiFi, and a cot if you need it. Bedding and towels are included. No pets sorry.
