This is the place in Keswick. It's called James' Retreat now, though you might see it listed elsewhere as 12 Elm Court.
It's on the ground floor, which is handy. There's level access too, so it works well if you or anyone you're with has trouble with steps. It's right on the edge of the town centre, so it's quiet but you can walk to everything. The bus station is a few minutes away, about 400 yards. There's a parking space if you drive.
It sleeps two, one bedroom and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. The furniture is modern and it feels quite spacious for a one-bedroom place.
You’re right in Keswick, so you’ve got shops, a pub, and places to eat all within a short walk. For a bigger day out, you’re in the middle of the Northern Lakes. Derwentwater is a ten minute walk. You can drive up to Honister Pass or over to Borrowdale in no time.
Facilities wise, it’s got the usual stuff: a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV, and all the bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog.
