This is James' Retreat. It used to be known as 12 Elm Court, up in Keswick. It's a ground floor apartment in a small block called Howrah's Court, which is just on the edge of the town centre.
It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's tidy and well looked after. Because it's on the ground floor and has level access, it's a good option if you or someone you're with finds steps difficult.
The bus station is about a five minute walk, so it's handy if you're coming by bus. There's a private parking space if you drive.
You can walk into Keswick in a few minutes. The shops, pubs, and places to eat are all about 400 yards away. It's quiet where the apartment is, but you're not cut off.
Inside, it's a good size for a couple. There's a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi, and a TV. All the bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog.
For planning days out, the Lake District National Park site is useful. Also, if you're looking for walks or historical spots, National Trust Lake District has good information.
