Flat 2 Lonsdale House
Flat 2 Lonsdale House is a ground floor apartment in Keswick. It's part of a group of places called The Howrah's Court. You're on the edge of town, so it's quiet, but you can walk to everything in a few minutes.
It sleeps four. There are two bedrooms and, which is useful, two bathrooms. It's a 4 Star place. The rooms have been done up nicely. It's comfortable and everything works.
The local shop and a couple of pubs are about 150 yards away. They're handy. Keswick is a good base. You've got the shops and cafes, and you can get boat trips on Derwentwater right from the town.
For walking, you're right in it. You can start a hike from the door. The Lake District National Park site has all the maps and routes. For something different, the National Trust has some great properties nearby, like Brandelhow on the shore of Derwentwater.
Within half an hour you can drive to places like Grasmere, or up the Honister Pass. But to be honest, you don't need to go far. The fells are right there.
It has a washing machine, dishwasher, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking on site. No pets, I'm afraid.
