Brundholme
Brundholme is in the middle of Keswick, on the first floor of a building. You park in the town car parks, which is included and useful. The view from the living room window is good, straight out to the fells.
It sleeps four. There are two bedrooms and two bathrooms, which is handy. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and well looked after.
You're right in the town. The shop and the pub are a minute's walk away, lots of restaurants are even closer. You can leave the car parked up if you want.
For walking, you can just step out the door and go. For longer trips, the bus service is good for getting to Borrowdale or Buttermere without driving. Derwentwater is a five minute walk. You can get boats from there.
Castlerigg Stone Circle is about a mile away, up the hill. It's worth the walk for the view. National Trust Borrowdale has details on the local area. The Lake District National Park site is good for planning.
Inside, it's got a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot if you need one. No pets, sorry.
