Skiddaw House

This is Skiddaw House. It's a tall, terraced house in Keswick. It's about five minutes flat walk to the market square. You don't need the car for the town.

It sleeps eight over four bedrooms. There are three bathrooms, which helps with a full house. The stairs are standard for a place like this, a bit narrow.

The house is as described. It's clean and has what you need. It's got a 3 Star rating, which feels about right. It's comfortable, not luxury.

You're right in the middle of everything. The front door opens onto a normal street. There's a pub and places to eat very close by. Keswick itself is good for shops and cafes.

For getting outside, you can walk straight from the door. Latrigg is an easy start. For bigger walks, Skiddaw and Blencathra are right there. Catbells and Helvellyn are a short drive. Derwentwater is a ten minute walk. You can hire rowing boats there.

If the weather turns, the Theatre by the Lake is good. The Pencil Museum is a classic for kids. The Lakes Distillery is about eight miles away if that's your thing.

Parking is for one car on the street out front. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, wifi, and all the bedding and towels are included. No pets allowed.
