Greenbank
Greenbank is in Keswick, about a fifteen minute walk from the town centre. It's a big house, sleeps ten people, five bedrooms. Two bathrooms and a downstairs loo. It's got a 4 Star rating so it's comfortable and well looked after.
You get eight parking spaces, which is unusual for Keswick. There's a garden with a patio and some outdoor furniture. Good for sitting out when the weather's decent.
It's handy for the town, but you can also walk straight up onto the fells from the door. Latrigg is just up the road. You can easily get to Catbells or Walla Crag without moving the car.
The town has the usual stuff: pubs, restaurants, shops. The Theatre by the Lake is good for a wet day. If you drive, you're right in the middle of everything. Derwentwater is a ten minute walk, or five minutes in the car.
For a longer trip, you've got Borrowdale, Buttermere, and Ullswater all within about half an hour's drive. The Honister Slate Mine is about twenty minutes away.
The house has a dishwasher, washing machine, wifi, that sort of thing. We can provide a cot and a highchair if you need them. You can bring one well-behaved dog.
