Thwaite Hill Cottage
Thwaite Hill Cottage is in Seldom Seen, near Thornthwaite. It's detached, so no one's attached to the side of you. The living room is upstairs. That's because the view is better from there, you can see Skiddaw and Latrigg.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's a 3 Star place, so it's comfortable and clean without being posh. The stairs are normal, but remember the living area is on the first floor.
It's very quiet here. Seldom Seen is a good name for it. You're on the side of Whinlatter but only about four miles from Keswick. Braithwaite village is closer, about a mile. They've got a shop, a couple of pubs and places to eat there.
You've got the garden to yourself. There's a woodburning stove for cooler evenings. We include the bedding and towels. There's a washing machine, WiFi, and a cot if you need it. You can bring two dogs.
For things to do, you're right by Whinlatter Forest for walking or cycling trails. Keswick has the usual stuff: shops, boats on the lake, that sort of thing. You can drive up to the top of Latrigg for an easy view, or walk up from town. A bit further, you've got Lake District National Park everywhere else.
