This is Herdwick Heights. It's a first-floor apartment above a row of shops on Keswick's main street. You're right in the middle of town. The bus station is very close if you're coming by public transport.
It sleeps four, with two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating. That means it's comfortable and clean, not luxurious. The kitchen has what you need.
The view is the main thing. From the back you look right out at Skiddaw and Latrigg. From the front you can see Grisedale Pike and Causey Pike. It's a proper Lake District view.
You can walk to everything. Derwentwater is about ten minutes on foot. There are restaurants, pubs, and shops literally on your doorstep. There's a pub about 200 yards away. The leisure pool and park are nearby too, with tennis and bowling.
You get one allocated parking space, which is handy. The apartment has WiFi, a TV, a washing machine, and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included.
For days out, you're in a good spot. Borrowdale and Buttermere are a short drive. You can get up to Whinlatter Forest or over to Ullswater easily. For walkers, the information on the Lake District National Park site is useful. The National Trust looks after a lot of the local land and properties.
No pets, sorry.
