Apple Tree Cottage is in Threlkeld. It's a detached stone place at the foot of Blencathra. The views are good, front and back.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable, not poky. The garden is yours to use.
There are two pubs in the village, about five minutes' walk. They both do food. The village has a play area and a field right opposite the cottage.
Keswick is four miles away. You can walk or cycle there on the old railway path. There's a bus if you need it. Keswick Golf Club is half a mile away.
You're on the C2C cycle route here, so it's good for bikes. Walking starts from the door. Blencathra is right there if you want a proper climb.
The facilities are what you'd need: a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking. You can bring one well-behaved dog. We've got a cot, highchair, and stairgate if you're bringing little ones.
