This place is called Blencathra. It's one of three apartments in a building right in the centre of Keswick. You're basically on the main street, opposite the George Fisher shop.
It's an attic flat. So the ceilings slope in places. You get a view of the fells from the windows. The apartment is for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's a 3 Star place, so it's comfortable and clean but not fancy.
You get a parking permit for a car park nearby. Once you're parked, you can walk everywhere. The front door is up a few steps from street level.
Honestly, the location is the main thing. You're about 75 yards from pubs and restaurants. It's a ten minute walk down through Hope Park to get to Derwentwater. You can get the launch boats from there. For walking, you can be on the fells practically from your doorstep.
Inside, it's got what you'd need: a TV, wifi, a washing machine. Bedding is included. There's a cot if you need one. You also get access to a shared terrace.
If you're planning walks or trips, these sites are useful: National Trust Lake District and Lake District National Park Authority. The Whinlatter Forest and Honister Slate Mine are both within half an hour's drive.
