Chaucer Lodge Apt 1
Chaucer Lodge Apartment 1 is in Keswick. It's a ground floor flat in a small block of four. It's really central, about a five minute walk into the town centre.
It's a 3 Star place, so it's clean and comfortable, not luxurious. It sleeps two people, with one bedroom and a shower room. It’s all on the ground floor, which makes it quite easy to get around.
You get your own parking space right outside. The owners include the WiFi, bedding, towels, and electricity in the price. There's a dishwasher and a TV.
Honestly, once you're parked up, you probably won't need the car unless you’re going walking further out. Everything in Keswick is on your doorstep: shops, pubs, cafes. A local pub is nearby too.
You’re right in the middle of the fells. For walks, you can basically just step out the door. Derwentwater is about a fifteen minute walk away. If you want to explore the bigger sites, National Trust Borrowdale is about a ten minute drive. The Lake District National Park site is useful for planning.
