This is Rose Patch Cottage in Keswick. It's a semi-detached house on a street about a minute's walk from the market square. You're right in the centre of town.
It sleeps up to eleven people over five bedrooms. There are three bathrooms, which helps with a group that size. It's got a 4 Star rating.
You're basically in the middle of everything. Shops, pubs, and restaurants start about fifty yards from the front door. The location is the main thing here. You can walk to Derwentwater in about ten or fifteen minutes, through Hope Park. The Theatre by the Lake is on that route.
From the boat landings on the lake, you can get a launch across to walks like Catbells. It's a popular way to do it if you don't fancy driving around. The whole of the Lake District National Park is on your doorstep for walking.
Inside, it's set over three floors. The stairs are fairly typical for an old town house, so they're a bit steep and twisty. There's a living room that leads into a separate dining room, and a terraced area outside the front.
Facilities include a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if needed. No pets, I'm afraid.
