Green Ghyll
Green Ghyll is on a small street about five minutes' walk from the centre of Keswick. It's a proper stone cottage, so it's bigger than it looks from the front.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. The one on the top floor is nice, it has its own shower room and a view out towards the fells. The stairs are typical for a cottage. Not a problem, but you'll notice them.
There's a small garden at the back with a patio. It gets the sun in the afternoon. The kitchen has everything you'd need, and there's a separate utility room with a washing machine and a pulley dryer. That's useful for putting wet coats and boots.
You can walk into Keswick in a few minutes. Fitz Park is just down the road. All the shops, pubs, and the Co-op are there. For a bigger walk, you're straight onto the fells from the end of the street, no need to drive.
Within half an hour's drive, you've got Derwentwater for the boat hire, and places like Grasmere and Buttermere. Further afield, you can get to Ullswater or up to the Honister Pass.
In terms of what's here: all bedding and towels are included. There's WiFi. We can provide a cot and a highchair. No pets allowed, sorry.
