Green Ghyll
Green Ghyll is in Keswick, a few minutes walk from the town centre. It's a big cottage on three floors. You can see the fells from the windows.
It sleeps six, with three bedrooms. Two have king size beds, and one is a twin. There are two bathrooms, one is en-suite to the top floor bedroom. That room has the best views, right towards Grisedale Pike.
The stairs are standard for a cottage like this. Not tiny, but you need to be aware of them. On the first floor landing there's a little cubby hole with some board games and books in it.
The kitchen has everything you'd need. There's also a utility room with a washing machine, which is really useful as a drying space for boots and coats. You'll probably use that door coming in and out.
You can walk into Keswick easily. It's level, takes about five minutes to Fitz Park or the shops and pubs. The nearest pub is about a quarter of a mile away.
For walks, you can drive or take the bus. Latrigg is a good, straightforward one from Keswick. Catbells is a bus ride away on the Borrowdale bus. For a bigger day, Skiddaw is right there, or you can drive to the Honister Pass.
The facilities are all there. Dishwasher, WiFi, washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. We provide a cot and a highchair if you need them. The garden is a patio area. No pets, sorry.
