Oak Lea is on a quiet residential street in Keswick. It's an end terrace place built from the local stone. You can walk into the town centre in about five minutes. It's flat, which is good.
It sleeps six, with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. One bathroom is an en-suite. Everything's in good order, nothing's worn out. It's got a 4 Star rating.
Because it's built into the slope, it's on three floors. The stairs are a typical cottage staircase. All the floors have a view of the fells, which is nice.
The kitchen has what you'll need. There's a dishwasher and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot in the cupboard if required. The main entrance is level, so it's okay for wheelchairs to get in.
Keswick itself has everything. Plenty of pubs and places to eat. Good outdoor shops. There's a theatre, a leisure pool, and a couple of parks.
For getting out, you're right in the north of the Lake District. Derwentwater is a short walk away. You can get boats around it from the landing stage. For walking, Skiddaw is right there, or you can drive into Borrowdale fairly quickly.

No pets, I'm afraid.
