This is Osprey, one of the apartments in the old Royal Oak Hotel in Keswick. It's a maisonette, so it's on the first and second floors. You get into the building through a shared entrance, then there are stairs or a lift to the first floor, and then just stairs up to the second floor.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms. It has a 4 Star rating, which means it's well equipped and comfortable.
The main living space, kitchen and dining area are up on the second floor. That's because the views from there are the whole point. You get a proper panorama of the fells, from Skiddaw all the way round to Whinlatter Forest. It’s a good spot to sit with a cup of tea.
You're right in the middle of Keswick, so everything in the town is on your doorstep. You probably won't need to use your car once you're parked. Derwentwater and the Theatre by the Lake are about a ten minute walk away, through Hope Park. There's a mini golf course there too. You can get the launches from there to go around the lake.
Keswick itself is good for gear shops if you need anything for walking, and there are plenty of pubs and places to eat.
For facilities in the apartment, it's got a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV, and parking is included on site. Bedding and towels are provided. We can provide a cot if you need one. No pets, sorry.
