Causey Pike
Causey Pike is a second floor apartment in Keswick town centre. It used to be part of the old Royal Oak Hotel. You get good views out over Walla Crag and Causey Pike from the living room windows.
It sleeps four people in two bedrooms. One is a kingsize double with its own shower room, the other is a twin room. There's a separate family bathroom as well. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well-equipped. The building has a lift, which is handy.
You're right in the middle of things. The front door opens onto the main street. There's a shop about 50 yards away, a pub at 20 yards, and restaurants even closer. You can leave your car in the private parking space and walk everywhere.
The apartment is clean and light. The kitchen has what you need, but with Keswick on the doorstep you'll probably eat out. The living area is a good size with decent sofas.
For walks, you can be on the shore of Derwent Water in a few minutes. The Theatre by the Lake is there, and you can get a boat trip from the landing stages. For bigger days, you have Skiddaw, Catbells, and the whole Northern Fells right there.
Facilities include a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a highchair if needed. No pets.
