6 Elm Court
6 Elm Court is an apartment on the ground floor in Keswick. It’s modern, we had it all redone a few years ago. It sleeps four, with two bedrooms and a bathroom.
It’s on the edge of town, so it’s quiet. From the living room you can see out over the garden towards Skiddaw. There’s a private parking space, which is useful in Keswick.
You can walk into the town centre from here. There’s a shop and a pub a couple of minutes away. The main street has cafes, outdoor shops and places to eat. If you want to walk straight onto the fells, you can do that too without moving the car.
Keswick is good for walking. There are routes for all levels. Derwentwater is close by. For a longer day out, you can drive to other parts of the Lake District within half an hour.
Inside, it’s got a washing machine, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. No pets, I’m afraid.
It’s rated 3 Star. That means it’s clean and comfortable, not a luxury hotel. It works.
