Bridge Cottage is in Keswick, over the road from the River Greta. It's a quiet spot. You get squirrels and birds in the garden. It's about fifteen minutes on foot into the town centre, and it's a flat walk.
The cottage sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-equipped, not just basic. There's a woodburner for cooler nights.
You can walk straight from the door onto the fells. Latrigg is close. Skiddaw and Blencathra are there if you want a bigger day. The path by the river is good.
In terms of stuff, it has a dishwasher, washing machine, Sky TV, and wi-fi. A cot and highchair are there if you need them. There's parking on the drive.
