Riverbank
This is Riverbank. It's in Keswick, right on the side of the River Greta. You can see it from the living room window.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's well looked after. The stairs are narrow and steep though, just to warn you. The kitchen and bathroom are modern and everything works.
There's parking for one car on site. The garden is enclosed, which is handy. It's got a patio area out there too.
You're about a five minute walk from the middle of Keswick, so you can leave the car. There's a pub nearby.
The best bit is the location. You step out the door and you're on a footpath. One way goes into Fitz Park, which is good for dogs. The other way goes over a footbridge and you're straight into town. The river is right there, so if you're into fishing it's on your doorstep.
You're in Keswick, so you've got all the shops and cafes. For walking, Latrigg is practically behind the house. Skiddaw is there too if you're feeling more ambitious. Derwentwater is about a fifteen minute walk.
The house has a wood burner, Wi-Fi, and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. We can take up to two dogs. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them.
