It's 2 Windsor House, in Keswick. A ground floor apartment in an old stone house. You're about two minutes' walk from the main street, so it's very central. It was all done up a couple of years ago.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's comfortable and clean. The ceilings are high, which gives it a good feel.
You have your own parking space round the back, which is a real perk in Keswick. There's a small private patio area too.
You walk out the door and you're basically there. The shops, pubs, and places to eat are all on your doorstep. George Fisher, the outdoor shop, is literally seconds away. It's a five minute walk through Hope Park to get down to Derwentwater. You can get the boats from there.
For a bigger day out, you're right in the northern Lakes. Buttermere and Crummock Water are about a twenty minute drive. The drive over Honister Pass is spectacular. National Trust Borrowdale & Derwentwater has good walking information.
Inside, it's got what you need: a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. No pets, I'm afraid.
