Heatherside

Heatherside is in Portinscale. It's a semi-detached house. It sleeps five. Three bedrooms, one bathroom. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well-equipped.

The garden is enclosed, which is handy. There's a decent-sized conservatory on the back. You get views of the fells from the upstairs windows and the garden.

You can walk straight down to Derwentwater from the house. It's about a three minute walk to The Farmer's Arms pub for a drink. Keswick is a mile down the road, or you can walk across the fields in about twenty minutes.

The garage is there if you need to store bikes. There's parking for two cars on the drive.

Facilities are all there: washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. The entrance is level, no steps.

For local information and walking ideas, the Lake District National Park site is useful. National Trust Lake District covers a lot of the local land.
