Littlethwaite

Littlethwaite is on the edge of Keswick, in a little hamlet of nine houses called Thrushwood. It's a detached house with a lawned garden that's split into three levels. The views from it are really good, looking out over Borrowdale and Newlands.

It sleeps six, with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's well-equipped and comfortable. There's a games room with a pool table that converts to a dining table, and a TV with a games console. The living room has a Smart TV.

The stairs to the top-floor bedroom are steep and spiral. That's the main thing to know. There's a garage joined to the house which is handy for storing bikes or a canoe. The washing machine and tumble dryer are in there.

You can walk into Keswick in about 20-25 minutes. All the shops and pubs are there. From the house you can walk straight up onto Latrigg, or further onto the Skiddaw range if you're feeling energetic.

Keswick is the main hub. Derwentwater is there for boat trips. For bigger days out, the Borrowdale valley is a short drive south, and the Whinlatter Forest park is about 15 minutes away for mountain biking.

Included in the house: all bedding and towels, a cot and highchair if needed, dishwasher, washing machine, and tumble dryer. There's parking on site. No pets.
