This is Parkfield. It's a semi-detached place in Keswick, up by the Fitz Park end of town. You can walk into the centre in about ten minutes, but it's quiet up here. You get a view of the fells from the front.
It sleeps five. Three bedrooms, one bathroom. There's a good shower and a deep bath. The stairs are a bit steep, like a lot of places round here.
You've got a decent sized garden that's enclosed. Parking for one car on the drive. There's a washing machine, a dishwasher, wifi, all the usual stuff. Bedding and towels are included. We accept one dog.
It's got a 4 Star rating. That means it's well kept and comfortable. The kitchen has granite worktops, which I always think is a bonus.
There's a good pub about a two minute walk away. For walks, you can be on the path by the River Greta or up Latrigg in no time. Derwentwater is a short walk down the hill.
Keswick town has everything you'll need: shops, cafes, a co-op. The Theatre by the Lake is nice for a show. If you want to drive out, you're close to places like Catbells and Blencathra. Bassenthwaite Lake and the wildlife park are about a fifteen minute drive.
