Parkfield

Parkfield is a semi-detached house in Keswick. It's on a quiet street, but you're only about a ten minute walk from the town centre.

It sleeps five people. There are three bedrooms upstairs. Two of them have a good view of the fells. The bathroom has both a shower and a bath. Downstairs there's the living room and the kitchen. The place has a 4 Star rating, so it's well looked after.

The kitchen has a dishwasher and a washing machine. There's a TV, Wi-Fi, and parking for one car on the drive. The garden is enclosed, so it's safe for a dog. We allow one dog.

There's a pub about two minutes walk away. The town has all the usual shops, cafes, and outdoor gear places. It's a proper market town, so you've got everything you need.

You're well placed for walking. You can walk up Latrigg from the house if you want a shorter hike. Catbells, Skiddaw, Walla Crag are all nearby. Fitz Park and the River Greta are just down the road, and Derwentwater is about a fifteen minute walk.

For days out, the Theatre by the Lake is on the water. You can hire boats from there. The Pencil Museum and the Puzzling Place are in town for a wet day. Further afield, Bassenthwaite Lake and the northern fells are within a half hour drive.
