Bobbin Cottage
Bobbin Cottage is in Keswick. It's a stone terrace right by the River Greta. You can hear the water sometimes, it’s nice. It's a ten minute walk into the town centre, on the flat.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's tidy and comfortable, not huge, but it’s solid. The stairs are steep and a bit narrow. Just so you know.
There's a pub called The Twa Dogs right across the road. They do food and proper ale. The garden is at the back, it's small but it gets the sun.
For walking, you're in a good spot. Skiddaw and Blencathra are just up the road. Catbells is a short drive, maybe ten minutes. Derwentwater is about a fifteen minute walk from the door.
Keswick has the usual stuff: cafes, a big coop, outdoor shops. The theatre by the lake is good if it rains. Honister Slate Mine is worth a visit, about a twenty minute drive. They do mine tours and a via ferrata.
It has the things you'd need: WiFi, a TV, a washing machine, and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot if you need one. There’s a parking space. No pets, sorry.
