Bobbin Cottage is in Keswick, right on the river bank. It's one in a little terrace of stone cottages.
It's a 4 Star place. That means it’s comfortable and everything works, but it’s not a show home. It’s clean and warm.
There are two bedrooms, so it sleeps four. There’s one bathroom.
The front door opens straight onto the pavement and the road’s right there, so you’ll hear traffic. Across that road is The Twa Dogs pub. They do food. The town centre is about a ten minute walk away on the flat.
The back has a small patio garden. It gets some sun and you can hear the river.
You can walk to Fitz Park from the door. For bigger walks, you’d drive. Skiddaw, Blencathra and Catbells are all a short drive away. Derwentwater is about a mile.
Inside, there’s a washing machine and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. There’s a cot if you need one. The WiFi usually works. There’s parking for one car on the drive.
