This is 2 Greta Side Court. It's an apartment I have in Keswick, up in the old pencil mill by the River Greta.
It sleeps four, but it's one bedroom really. There's a double bed and then a sofa bed in the living area. One bathroom with a shower. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's clean and comfortable but not a luxury place.
The main thing is the location. You're right in the middle of town, but because it's by the river it feels quiet. The apartment is on the ground floor. You can sit out on the little balcony if the weather's good. You can hear the river.
You're a couple of minutes' walk from the shops and pubs. The entrance to Fitz Park is just over the road. It's a flat walk through the park and along the river, good if you don't want to tackle the fells straight away.
For a day out, you've got National Trust Borrowdale about fifteen minutes' drive south. Derwentwater is a ten minute walk from the apartment. You can get the launch from there. If you're a walker, Skiddaw is right there, and there are plenty of lower level routes if the weather's bad up high.
In terms of what's here, it's got the basics. WiFi, TV, parking. There's a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. I can provide a cot if you need one. No pets, I'm afraid.
