2 Greta Side Court is in central Keswick. It's a one-bedroom apartment on the ground floor of the old Pencil Mill. The building is right by the River Greta. You can hear it from the balcony, which faces south over Fitz Park towards Skiddaw. It's a good spot to sit out with a drink.
The place sleeps four. There's a double bed in the bedroom and a sofa bed in the living area. It's a 3 Star rating, so it's clean and comfortable but not luxurious. The bathroom has a shower, no bath.
You're really close to everything. There's a shop, a pub, and restaurants about a minute's walk away. Fitz Park is just across the road, which is handy for a stroll or if you've got kids who need to run about.
For walking, you can pick up trails straight from the door. Derwentwater is a ten-minute walk. The launch is there if you want to take the ferry across the lake. Driving-wise, you're well placed for the northern lakes. Borrowdale is about ten minutes by car, and the Whinlatter forest park is maybe fifteen.
Facilities: there's WiFi, satellite TV, a cot if needed, and all bedding and towels are included. On-site parking is a plus in Keswick. The garden area is shared with the other apartments. Sorry, no pets.
