Ewe How - Burnside Park

Ewe How is a pine log cabin on the Burnside Park site, near Keswick. It's one of several there. It sleeps six, in three bedrooms, with two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's a comfortable place, not just a basic one.

The cabin faces south and has a big balcony. You can see the fields, then Latrigg fell, and the Helvellyn range beyond. There's a table and chairs out there and a barbecue.

You're on the edge of Keswick, so you can walk into the town centre in about ten or fifteen minutes. It means you get the views and the quiet, but you're not stuck if you need a pint of milk or want a meal out.

You're right at the foot of Latrigg. An easy path starts almost from the site if you want to climb it. The views from the top over Keswick and Derwentwater are worth the walk.

For a proper day out, you're very close to everything. Derwentwater is maybe a twenty minute walk. You can get a boat from there. The Theatre by the Lake is in Keswick. Further afield, Castlerigg Stone Circle is a short drive, and you can be at Ullswater or Buttermere within half an hour.

Facilities wise: it's got what you'd expect. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. Parking is right outside. You can bring up to two dogs.
