Ewe How - Burnside Park

Ewe How is a log cabin on Burnside Park, just outside Keswick. It's one of a group of lodges there. You get a private balcony that looks south over fields towards Latrigg and Helvellyn.

It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's a 4 Star, so it's well finished and has everything you need. The balcony is good, it's got a table and chairs and a barbecue.

Keswick town centre is walkable. It takes about 15 or 20 minutes. That means you can pop in for a shop or a pint without having to drive. The site is quiet though, you're not in the middle of it.

You're right at the foot of Latrigg, which is a good, straightforward walk with a great view over Derwentwater. For bigger walks, Skiddaw is just behind you, and the Helvellyn range is across the valley.

You can drive to Derwentwater in a couple of minutes. Borrowdale and Buttermere are both within a 20 or 30 minute drive. Ambleside and Grasmere are about half an hour away, if you fancy a change from Keswick.

The lodge has parking right outside. All the bedding and towels are provided. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, and WiFi. A highchair and cot are there if you need them. You can bring up to two dogs.
