Jebel Kasr

Jebel Kasr is in Thornthwaite, a small village on the edge of Whinlatter forest. It's the cottage bit on the side of our house. You've got it to yourselves though. There's parking right outside.

It's a place for two. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's modern inside, open plan. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's comfortable and clean. It's small but there's everything you need.

Whinlatter is right on the doorstep. You can walk straight into it. It's good for walking and the mountain bike trails start from the visitor centre. You can store bikes here.

Keswick is about ten minutes drive east. It's got all the shops and places to eat. You can get the bus from the village too. Bassenthwaite Lake is about five minutes the other way.

It's a good spot for getting about. You can be in Borrowdale or up near Skiddaw in fifteen or twenty minutes. Workington and the coast are within half an hour.

Facilities wise, it's got a dishwasher, wifi, TV, and towels are included. The shower is en-suite. No pets, sorry.
