Middle Howe is a first-floor apartment in How, near Portinscale. It’s in a small block. The views are very good, out over the fells on three sides. You can see Skiddaw from one window. It’s quiet.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with their own bathrooms. There’s also a separate toilet in the hall. The living area is open plan, with the kitchen at one end. It’s a decent size. There’s a balcony with a bench, big enough for two people to sit.
You can walk into Keswick in about half an hour, or it’s a five-minute drive. Portinscale is just the other side of the main road. There are flat walks from the door, down to Derwentwater. You can get the Keswick Launch from Nichol End marina if you want a trip on the lake.
There’s a garage around the back for storing bikes or kayaks. Parking is on site. The gardens are shared with the other apartments. You get all your bedding and towels. There’s a washing machine and Wi-Fi.
