This is Ashness. It's a single lodge in Keswick, part of a small development called Burnside Park. It's a pine log cabin, sleeps two people. One bedroom, one bathroom.

It's got a 4 Star rating. It's clean and well looked after. The kitchen has a dishwasher and a washing machine. There's WiFi and a TV. Bedding and towels are included.

The lodge is on the edge of the town, at the bottom of Latrigg. It's quiet here. You can walk into Keswick centre in about fifteen or twenty minutes. There's a pub about five minutes walk away, and a cafe just down the lane. Both are good.

Being here, you're right on the edge of everything. You can walk up Latrigg straight from the door. Keswick is handy for shops, places to eat, and the launch onto Derwentwater.

For bigger days out, Skiddaw is behind you. Borrowdale and the Newlands Valley are a short drive. You're well placed for the northern lakes.

There's parking right outside your lodge. No pets.
