Ashness

Ashness is a pine log cabin in Keswick. It's in a small park of similar lodges at the foot of Latrigg.

It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which is accurate. It's clean and everything works. It's warm.

The cabin is quiet. You can walk into Keswick town centre. It's about a mile. There's a pub a few minutes walk away that does food. People seem to like it.

You're right on the edge of the fells. Latrigg is basically on your doorstep for a walk. Skiddaw is there too if you want something bigger.

Keswick has all the usual shops and places to eat. The theatre by the lake is good. Derwentwater is a short drive or a longer walk. You can get a boat from there.

Around here, you're in the middle of it all. Borrowdale is a ten minute drive south. Ullswater is about twenty minutes away. The A66 makes it easy to get to Penrith or the west coast if you want to explore further.

What's here: There's a washing machine, a dishwasher, parking right outside, and a small patio area. All the bedding and towels are included. The WiFi works. No pets, I'm afraid.
