Causey Cottage
This is Causey Cottage in Keswick. It's a terrace house in a quiet street about five minutes walk from the town centre. The walk is level, which is good. There's on-street parking out the front.
It sleeps four people in two bedrooms. There's a bathroom on each floor, one's a shower room. You don't have to share a bathroom if you don't want to. It's a 4 Star place, so it's been done up nicely inside. New kitchen, good wifi.
Out the back there's a small, enclosed patio garden. You can sit out there if it's nice.
You're five minutes from the shops and pubs. The nearest pub is about 400 yards. The Keswick Convention centre is very close if that's what you're here for.
For walking, you can head straight out from the door. There’s a golf course nearby, and some fishing spots.
Other things to do: Derwentwater is a ten minute walk. The National Trust sites around Borrowdale are a short drive. Whinlatter Forest is about fifteen minutes by car. You can get to places like Ambleside or Grasmere within half an hour.
Inside there's a washing machine, dishwasher, and bedding is included. No pets allowed.
