Causey Cottage is in Keswick. It's one of a row, part of a quiet street. It's about five minutes flat walk into the town. You can see the fells from the windows.
It sleeps four people. Two good-sized bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. That's handy. It has a 4 Star rating, which just means it's comfortable and well looked-after. The owner did a full refurbish a few years back.
The garden is out the back. Patio area, fully enclosed. Parking is on the street in front of the house.
There's a local pub about four hundred yards away. They serve food. A shop is roughly the same distance. You can walk into Keswick town centre for everything else.
The Keswick Convention centre is very close by, if that's your thing. Otherwise, you can just walk straight out onto the fells from the door. No need to get in the car.
If you do drive, you're in the middle of it all. Borrowdale is ten minutes one way, Thirlmere the other. The whole Lake District National Park is right there. For wider planning, the official sites are useful: Lake District National Park and National Trust Lake District.
Inside, it's got what you'd need. Washing machine, dishwasher, Wi-Fi. All bedding is included. No pets, sorry.
