It's number 5 Balmoral House in Keswick. It's an apartment, one of seven in a small block.

It's on the third floor. You get there by an external staircase. It's a climb, but the view from up there is good. You can see Skiddaw right from the living room window.

It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom with a good shower. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well kept. The mattress is a Hypnos one, which people seem to like.

You're right in the middle of town. Everything in Keswick is a few minutes' walk away. You can leave the car in the private parking space and just walk. Derwentwater and the Theatre by the Lake are about five minutes away, through Hope Park. There's putting and a small golf course there.

The apartment has a washing machine, TV, and WiFi. Bedding is included. No pets.

If you're planning walks, the Lake District National Park site has all the maps and routes. For local history, National Trust Lake District is useful.
